# Make RSS source watch: test record Checked on 16 October 2026. This record describes the supplied five-module blueprint and its configured owner checks. Each recipient still supplies a Make account, Google connection, approved source and private Sheet. ## Native checks We corrected the hostname checks, empty lookup handling and Google Sheets fields after the first native checks found failures. Make returned a one-member result with an explicit zero count for an empty lookup. A missing publication date could also become a synthetic 1970 date. The corrected workflow requires an explicit zero count before appending. It saves a publication date only when the native RSS output includes the raw publication field. Atom publication dates stay blank. Eleven corrected native runs passed 1,270 independent checks. A separate final guard and both private journals passed 472 checks. The checks covered new rows, repeats, mixed existing/new items, duplicate links in one feed, the five-item limit, literal formula-like titles, missing dates, a disallowed hostname, a feed error, a failed lookup and recovery. The final disabled guard passed no bundles and made no RSS or Sheet operations. A clean import preserved all five modules and raised only the two expected recipient connection requirements. The unconnected import was cancelled without running. Execution evidence comes from the separate configured owner scenario. ## Limits These results do not establish enforced redirect or private-address restrictions in Make's RSS module. Only an owner-approved public feed was used. Simultaneous writers, real provider outages and uncertain writes remain untested. A Sheet lookup and append are not an atomic lock. A feed item is material for review. These checks do not establish the truth of a vendor claim or a complete archive of earlier feed items.
